I went to install a new rear caliper on my 2003 sportsman 500 and the brass fitting is stripped and cracked at the end of the brake line.

I’m planning on cutting the brake line at the bottom, getting the stripped fitting off, and then installing a new fitting for the line.

Does anyone know the diameter of the copper brake line that goes to the caliper. 3/16″ ?

Also, what type of flare is on there. is it a double flare, metric bubble flare?

I’ll have to order a brake flaring kit before
